Kristof Dewulf is a passionate information security manager with almost 10 years professional experience, specialized in information security management and data protection matters. He has extensive knowledge of related (control) frameworks and experience in reporting and conveying messages to senior management.

Within EY, Kristof leads strategic information security and data protection projects and ensures he and his team are delivering the highest quality to their clients. Eager for knowledge, he actively follows and posts on different social media platforms information security related topics. He is perceived as an enthusiastic and energetic professional driven by a positive mind. He is a self-motivating professional with good interpersonal skills which allow him to build rapport with many leadership positions at his clients.

Kristof is a member of different in-company work groups and committees on information security, as well is he actively supporting EY’s membership in professional organizations such as the Information Security Forum (ISF – https://www.securityforum.org), ISACA (http://www.isaca.org), the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP – https://www.privacyassociation.org) and the standardization committee for the ISO 2700x standard development (http://www.jtc1sc27.din.de).

His academic track record learned him a lot on security management, risk management, governance structures and data protection. He achieved different certifications demonstrating his knowledge and experience in these, such as CISM – CRISC – CISA – CIPP/IT – CISA – ISO27001 Lead Auditor and Implementer – BS25999 Lead Auditor – Prince2 Practitioner.
