Why I Joined The Analogies Project

I stumbled across The Analogies Project during one of my frequent and random surf on the web in search for anything information security related. As an information security practitioner and one who frequently facilitate information security awareness, I opine that today’s information security awareness needs to transcend beyond the use of information security buzz words and clichés in awareness sessions and posters into stories and analogies that would not only resonate with our immediate audience but would also continuously spur their interest and make them carriers and “tell-ers” of the information security tale. Or just maybe, the real truth of information security needs to be re-told. And they say, ”…when the truth is missing we use a proverb to find it“.
