A soldier from Burma Company,1st Battalion The Duke of Lancaster’s Regiment, calls to a colleague during a firefight with Afghan insurgents.

The Regiment were based in Patrol Base Shah Zad in the Green Zone of Helmand Province along with Somme Company at Check Point Taalanda, providing security for the clearance of a new roadway when they came underfire.
